I am a LicensedPsychologist with a private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. I specialize in adult psychotherapy and the treatment of trauma, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, family-of-origin issues, abuse and related issues. I have been active in the field of psychology for over 20 years. I integrate a variety of treatment approaches with a primary focus on somatic work that helps you attune to your body, establish safety and bring yourself to a more grounded, safe, relaxed state. I work collaboratively with you to develop skills that will improve your quality of life. My goal is to help you feel empowered by discovering your true potential in the healing process. My style is direct, compassionate and sometimes humorous within a professional and relaxed atmosphere.
I have been practicing as a licenced massage therapist for the past 10 years. I specialize in using theraputic modalities to address each of my clients individual needs. Some of the modalities I often use include deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping, neuromuscular and Wat Po Thai massage. I'm passionate about helping others achieve their physical goals and finding peace inside their body and mind.
I created this online course to teach people how they can use simple tools and techniques to perform effective bodywork on themselves and find relief at home. I hope the online format allows me to reach a wider audience and help more people experience the benefits of implementing active recovery techniques, such as massage therapy, into the their daily lives.
